Fees

Learning ActivitiesOnce you have decided to place your child at St Mary’s Nursery we require a registration fee of £10 to cover administration costs. To secure your childs’ place you will be asked to pay a £50 bond (this will hold the place for three months) which will be deducted from your final invoice.

Our fees are calculated within the following age bands: 1-2 years and 2-5 years.

Terms and Conditions

  • There is a minimum attendance of two sessions per week.
  • Fees are charged per session regardless of whether the child attends or stays for the full session.
  • Fees are due on or before the due date on your invoice.
  • Should the fees be in arrears of more than one month we reserve the the right to terminate the placement.
  • To give up your childs placement we require one months notice in writing or payment made in lieu.

Childcare Vouchers

Child PaintingIf you are currently employed and receive childcare vouchers from your employer, St Mary’s Nursery accept them towards payment of fees.

Childcare vouchers allow £50 of your monthly salary exempt from tax and NICs towards our fees.

Q. How can I tell if I am better off with Tax Credits or a Voucher Scheme?

A1. You will always be better if your employer offers the vouchers additional to your salary.

A2. Generally, if you receive £545 or less per year from Tax Credits you will gain more with a Voucher Scheme.

A3. Generally, if you receive over £545 per year from Tax Credits you will not gain from claiming tax and NIC exemptions (unless you are a higher rate tax payer)
