Our Children

We help and encourage children to gain confidence, independence and sensitivity to the needs, feelings and point of view of others.

We provide equal opportunities for boys and girls and recognise and respect all cultures and religions. We take time to settle them and work closely with families.

Our Aims

The main aim of our nursery is to help children become learners and encourage them to be inquisitive and develop an insatiable curiosity. We aim to provide a welcoming environment, which enables each child regardless of their ability to get to know other adults and children with whom they will share their nursery experience.

Through our policies and practice we will provide an introduction to a way of life which will develop the spiritual, scholastic, emotional and creative qualities of each child. We aim to create an atmosphere which is stable, happy and fruitful so that each child leaves us with self-confidence, education in basic numeracy, literacy and cultural qualities to enjoy living.

Meals and Snacks

All meals are freshly prepared by our own nursery cook.

Meals are cooked using high quality local ingredients. Menus are carefully planned to ensure variety and nutritional value.

If your child requires a special diet inform your child’s keyworker and they will discuss it with the cook so an alternative can be arranged.
